Mr. Michael Molinski has worked extensively as a consultant and communications specialist in the areas of global finance, risk management, international trade and labor economics. His engagement topics have included crisis communications, pension policy, ERISA, insurance, Latin American trade and investment, employment discrimination, compensatory and punitive damages, among others. He has experience in a wide range of industries including global finance, asset management and media. Prior to joining Trendline Economics, Mr. Molinski was a director and vice president at Fidelity Investments, Wells Fargo and Charles Schwab.

Bin Wang has worked as an economist and financial analyst in the areas of international trade, financial economics and asset pricing. After graduating from Zhejiang University in management, she went on to the Master program in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She is currently an economics researcher in the Ph.D program in Financial Economics of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne. Prior to joining Trendline Economics, Ms. Wang worked as a financial analyst in the research team of CITIC Securities and Founder Securities in China. Cases that she has been involved in include the impact of international trade on productivity, fundamental analysis in military and the electronics industry, and financial econometrics.

Blake Schierman is an economic consultant, working with UNESCO in the management of UN development projects for Africa. He has also worked as a consultant with the European Commission, where he analyzed the effects of the migrant flow into Europe on wages, employment levels, skill flows, and growth among EU-member states. After graduating from the University of Calgary with a degree in economics, he spent a year studying Australian economics at the University of Queensland, and completed his Master thesis on the impact of public health intervention programs. Prior to joining Trendline Economics, he was also involved in public policy analysis, industrial organization, and development economics.

Carlos Monge-Badilla is a veteran of the Central Bank of Costa Rica, where he worked as an economist conducting research on monetary policy, inflation expectations, trade policy, labor markets and theoretical economics. Mr. Monge-Badilla graduated in economics and the Master program in applied math from the University of Costa Rica. Both in his undergraduate studies and his year in the Master program prepared him for using theoretical and applied methods to explain economical phenomena, and he worked in several research institutes at the University of Costa Rica. Prior to joining Trendline Economics, he completed his Masters 2 at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne in Development Economics where his focus was on monetary policy, inflation and productivity.

José Victor Cremonesi Giarola has worked as an economist in the areas of corruption, public affairs and policy analysis in Latin America and Europe. After graduating in economics from the Federal University of Paraná , Brazil, he went on to the Master program at the University of São Paulo. He moved to Paris in 2015 to continue his academic work, completing an M2 research program in Development Economics at Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne. He joined Trendline Economics in 2016. Cases that he has been involved in include institutional policy and corruption, and empirical econometrics. Prior work includes Brazil’s Court of Justice, Control of Special Accounts, working on monetary debt and debt correction from Brazil’s state of Paraná and municipal courts in Paraná.
